Leyla Rodriguez
Leyla Rodríguez proviene de una familia de músicos y creció en Argentina en los años 1976-1983.
En 1984 emigró a Europa con su madre y vivió allí en las ciudades de Frankfurt, Madrid, Berlín, Leipzig y Hamburgo.
El viaje, la pérdida de identidad y el hogar son un papel central recurrente en este sentido y como representantes de los miembros de la familia, la música y los animales se convierten en el punto de partida de personajes complejos.
En la vinculación del arte y la vida, que incluye, entre otras cosas, una práctica curatorial de larga data o la producción de libros de artista, las instalaciones y películas experimentales de Rodríguez, tanto en su diversidad medial como en su ejecución conceptual y práctica, diseñan el carácter de una obra de arte total.
En 2011, Leyla Rodríguez recibió el Kraft New Media Prize.
