Graphic designer graduated with honors from the University of Buenos Aires with a postgraduate degree in FLACSO in Management and politics in culture and communication.He has specialized in the design of records and books. In 2006 she was awarded the Latin Grammy Award as Art Director, an award for which she was also nominated in 2014, 2015 and 2018 among other recognitions. It is worth highlighting the Award for Excellence in Communication Arts in 2015 and the second national award in the design category awarded by the National Endowment for the Arts in 2018.In parallel, her interest in the development of different graphic languages and the search for her own have brought her closer to the world of illustration, a field in which she has achieved various distinctions such as the prestigious Chilean Amster Coréaward. Today she specializes in illustration applied to products, being a founding member of the collective of artists and surface designers “With love from Argentina”.Laura is the author and co-author of several illustrated books: “Verdesolar” (2004),“Brawlers, liars and lazy” (2007), “Four skinny black cats” (2011), “Lady René”(2011), “Instructions to treat melancholy ”(2012),“ What the wind left me ”(2012),“200 Years of Monsters and Argentine Wonders ”(2015),“ Nidos que lull ”(2017) and“El Álbum ”(2019) .His work has been published by editorials in various countries and is part of the permanent design collection of the Museum of Modern Art in Buenos Aires as well as the IDA Foundation, Research in Argentine Design.She is co-director of the Postgraduate Program for Professional Illustration Update at the University of Buenos Aires and has been part of the undergraduate teaching for more than 10 years at the same institution. He gives conferences and workshops in different countries.He has participated in the assembly of the Professional Conference for Illustrators of the Buenos Aires Book Fair, has organized the International Encounter of Illustration- MICA 2015 and is part of the Hay Futura design collective with a gender perspective.
