Lars Lindemann
Lars Lindemann es director de fotografía y subdirector visual de GEO y PM. Después de estudiar geografía, historia y educación, Lars Lindemann se convirtió en editor de fotos, fotógrafo y curador autodidacta. Ha trabajado como freelancer para varias revistas antes de unirse a GEO. En 2015 se convirtió en director de fotografía y subdirector creativo de la revista GEO. Desde 2020, he estado supervisando el departamento de fotografía de la familia de revistas GEO y PM. Paralelamente a su trabajo periodístico, Lars Lindemann ha enseñado edición de fotografías en la Universidad de Ciencias Aplicadas y Artes de Dortmund, Alemania,y ha sido curador de exposiciones fotográficas. Ha sido miembro del jurado de concursos de fotografía nacionales e internacionales, incluído el World Press PhotoContest. El trabajo de Lindemann y sus colegas ha ganado varios premios de la Academia Principal, el Club de Directores de Arte Alemán y un Premio Internacional Imágenes del Año por el Mejor Uso de la fotografía en una revista impresa. En 2019, se convirtió en miembro designado de la Sociedad Alemana de Fotografía DGPH.
Lars Lindemann is the director of Photography and deputy visual director at GEOand PM. After studying geography, history and education, Lars Lindemann became a self-taught photo editor, photographer and curator. He has been freelancing for various magazines before joining GEO. In 2015 he became GEO magazine’s director of Photography and deputy creative director. Since 2020, he has been overseeing the GEO and PM family of magazines’ photo department. Parallel to his journalistic work Lars Lindemann has taught photo editing at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Dortmund, Germany, and curated photo exhibitions. He has been a jury member for national and international photo contests,including the World Press Photo Contest. Lindemann’s and his colleagues' work has earned several awards from the Lead Academy, German Art Directors Club and a Pictures of the Year International Award for Best Use of photography in a print magazine. In 2019, he became an appointed member of the German Photographic Society DGPH.
